This outcome describes the reduction in arson. "Arson does not only threaten lives and damage property but it has a detrimental effect on communities and the lives of people within them. National studies show that not all communities face the same risk of accidental or deliberate fires. Those living in poorer areas tend to have a greater risk of fire related incidents and are more likely to be injured than those living in more affluent areas."
